Terms of Use
These are the rules for playing our games. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
These terms
Undercity Studio is a trading name of [Legal entity name] Pty Ltd (ABN [ABN]). By downloading or using one of our games or apps, you agree to these terms. If you got it from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you got it from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply. If these terms and Apple's or Google's terms disagree, theirs apply to the extent of the disagreement.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our games and apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial enjoyment. The games, apps, characters, art, music and names belong to us or our licensors. Please don't copy, sell, rent, modify or reverse engineer them, except where the law allows you to.
Purchases and virtual items
- Our games are free to download. Some offer optional in-app purchases, such as removing ads, starter packs or in-game coins.
- Payments are handled by Apple or Google, and their payment and refund terms apply. To ask for a refund, see our Support page.
- Coins, gems and other in-game items are a licence to use them in the game. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for real money, and can't be transferred to another person or game.
- Permanent purchases, such as "No Ads", can be restored on a new device with the same Apple ID or Google account using Restore purchases.
- Items you have spent or used up, such as coins, can't be restored.
- We don't sell random-reward items (loot boxes). What you buy is always shown before you pay.
Ads
Our games show ads from third parties. We don't control every ad, but we limit ads to general-audience content and remove ads that break that rule. If you see a bad ad, please report it. Rewards for watching an ad depend on the ad finishing, and are sometimes unavailable when no ad can be loaded.
Fair play
Please don't cheat, hack or use tools that change how the game works, and don't use the game to break the law. Leaderboards and tournaments in our games are for fun and have no prizes of real-world value.
Changes to our games
We update our games to fix bugs, add content and keep them balanced, so things like prices, rewards and levels can change. We may also stop supporting a game one day. If we do, we will give reasonable notice in the game where we can, and permanent purchases will keep working for as long as the game still runs on your device.
Your consumer rights
Our games and apps come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and you may have similar rights where you live. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our games and apps are provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of game progress, for example after deleting the game without a backup. Where the law lets us limit our liability, it is limited to re-supplying the game or the item you bought, or refunding what you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [State], Australia. If you live somewhere else, you keep any protections your local law gives you.
Contact us
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top and mention important changes in the game's update notes.
